A letter to our guests

Dearest family & friends

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being here and for celebrating this incredibly special chapter with us.

Some of you have known us since before we could walk, while others have become cherished parts of our lives more recently. No matter when our paths crossed, each of you has played a role in shaping who we are and the journey that has brought us together.

Our wedding, like our love story, is only possible through the boundless blessings and grace of our beloved Bapaji. We feel profoundly grateful to begin this new chapter in His divine presence, in the sacred land of Dharampur—a place that holds immeasurable meaning in our hearts.

As we count down to our wedding day, we are filled with excitement knowing we’ll soon be celebrating this joyous occasion with the people we love most. We look forward to welcoming you to Dharampur and sharing this unforgettable chapter together.

Below, you’ll find your invitation along with all the details you’ll need for the celebrations ahead. We cannot wait to celebrate, laugh, and create unforgettable memories with each and every one of you.

With so much love,
Aashka & Rishi

The Architect of Our Love Story

Our Divine Father
Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji

Lovingly referred to as Bapaji — who He is. We are blessed beyond words to have our wedding in His presence.

Our story begins long before we found each other.

One of us has had the blessing of knowing Bapaji since childhood. The other found Him later in life, only to realize that He had been guiding every step all along. Though our journeys to Him were different, they led us to the very same place.

At the heart of our relationship is Bapaji. His teachings have shaped the people we are individually, and His grace has brought us together in a way only He could. What may seem like chance or perfect timing to others, we know has always been part of His divine plan.

As we begin this new chapter, we do so with immense gratitude. This marriage is not simply a celebration of our love for one another—it is a celebration of the life Bapaji has blessed us with, the values He has instilled in us, and the path He has lovingly laid before us.

There is no greater privilege than to begin our marriage in His divine presence, in the sacred land of Dharampur, surrounded by the people we love most. Everything that has led us here is, and always will be, because of His blessings and grace.

A Divine Plan Unfolding…

Our Love Story

For those meeting Them for the first time

Who we mean by
Gurudev & Param Krupalu Dev

Many of you will know Them well. For those who don’t, here is a quick introduction to the two figures whose presence runs through this whole page.

The Master

Param Krupalu Dev
Shrimad Rajchandraji

Born in Vavaniya, Gujarat, He was a poet, philosopher and self-realised master who lived only thirty-three years — and changed the spiritual life of a century. “Param Krupalu Dev” means the Lord of the Highest Compassion.

As a young man He demonstrated shatavdhan — one hundred tasks held in the mind at once — before giving up such demonstrations entirely so that nothing would distract from the inner path. He taught that liberation is open to everyone, of any caste, creed or gender.

His best-known work, Shri Atmasiddhi Shastra, is 142 verses on the nature of the soul, composed in Nadiad in a single sitting of about an hour and a half, at the age of twenty-eight, by the light of a lantern held for Him by Pujyashri Ambalalbhai.

Our Gurudev — Bapaji

Pujya Gurudevshri
Rakeshji

The one we call Bapaji. Born in Mumbai in 1966, He was drawn inward from earliest childhood; at eight, a picture of Shrimad Rajchandraji set off an awakening that He describes as recognising His Master from a previous life. At seventeen He renounced worldly life altogether.

In 1994 He founded Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur to carry Param Krupalu Dev’s message into the world. The Mission now reaches across six continents — satsang and meditation, value education for children, and Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, which serves people, animals and the earth.

He is, to us, simply the reason any of this exists.

Why the Ashram

Why Dharampur?

The Jin Mandir, Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram

For many of you, this may be your first visit to Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram in Dharampur, while others may know it well. You may be wondering why we chose to celebrate our wedding here.

To us, Dharampur is so much more than a destination—it is a place of serenity, devotion, and profound gratitude. It is where we have found countless moments of grace, where our faith has deepened, and where we have grown both individually and together.

When we imagined the beginning of our marriage, there was nowhere that felt more meaningful. To be married in Bapaji’s divine presence, in a place that holds such a special place in our hearts, is a blessing beyond words.

It means so much to us that our family and friends will be here to experience Dharampur alongside us. We hope that, during your time here, you’ll experience even a small glimpse of the peace, warmth, and joy that have made this place so deeply meaningful in our lives.
